Margaret's Hand-Tuned Rain Drum

Complete false advertisement. If I could have seen reviews, I never would have wasted my money on them. They are NOT rain drums meant to be out in the rain, they are meant to be used indoors and they give you a stupid stick to plink it with and a music book with some songs to play. What?!?! It's supposed to be played by the rain! Disgusting that this product continues to be falsely advertised on CRAFTFOLK. I guess they have not been sued for false advertising yet.

the reason I made the purchase of 3 of these items was based on the dramatic description about how lovely the rain played music on them, outside. I gifted one to a coworker and told her to put it outside so the rain would make music on it. she took it home and read the instructions that stated NOT to put it outside. I was pretty mad. now I have 2 other ones that I feel are useless.

I like the melodious sound of the item, but it's not loud enough to hear unless you're right on it. Plus, it's offered as a "rain chime", but it is not rustproofed inside, nor set up to drain water from it, so after it's been in the rain making it's soft music, you have to drain rusty water from the item. I really wanted to love this chime, but I'm just left disappointed. Especially for the cost.
