Rlaarlo HongYan 152mm Howitzer Towed Gun Model

I like that the Howitzer is 1:10 scale with several aluminum parts, how unique it is in the market and the fact that it can be pulled behind a truck. It works great with my Rlaarlo HY6. I love that the hand wheels function to adjust the gun for a "towing" or "firing" positions. There are also a few things that I changed to make mine more realistic... First, I don't like that the 2.2 tires are branded with the Rlaarlo name, so I swap them or a scale tire. Second, all of the black hex screws take away from the realistic appearance, so I replaced them with scale "bolt" hardware. Finally, I don't like that the aluminum parts are anodized metallic green, which does not go well with the military theme. I painted them and the entire gun so that they match the rest of the Howitzer and the green of the HY6. Overall, I'm glad that I bought the Howitzer and I like the finished product with my modifications.

This is such an amazing, beautiful, and unique piece of rc accessories even if it does nothing. Still its fantastic to have, the best part is that its 1/12 scale and perfect for everything.
