this 2.85mm filament works very well in my printer. was doesn't work very well is when I enquired about other colors I was told most printers use 1.75mm filament. Glad to know that's what my other 3 printers use. yes that is sarcasm. It was also explained that I could order it, pay in advance, min order is 50-100 rolls. As a hobbyist, not practical. I bought a 2.85mm printer as I personally know of 2 universities that use them, I suspect there is more. For a company trying to sell me a sintered plastic printer, I certainly would not be interested in something that proprietary if getting 2.85 mm filament is such an issue. But...the black you sell does work very well. Derek
