Vintage-Style Nut Grinder

I love it and was so glad to be able to find a model similar to my mom's 1950's model. The only thing I would change is having the top edges of the hopper smoothed out. They are pretty sharp and you have to lay your hand over the top while grinding. I place a folded paper towel over it first.

I'm sad to say this lasted less than a month. I used it every day to grind pecans for my morning oatmeal. Tried to grind pistachios (de-shelled) for lamb burgers last night and the two pieces with the metal teeth came apart. I'm bummed. It was nice to have one without any plastic parts, but even the plastic ones outlasted this.
