Renegade® Viper Shield™ Hoof Boot - Black Knight

I am very pleased with these hoof boots far more superior to my previous pair of boots ( from a competitor). With the help of Renegade staff we were able to correctly fit my horse and she’s able to wear these boots for the whole 8 weeks in between trims . I am a Renegade hoof boot person for Life . My horse required the Viper boots w/ the classic captivator swap. ❤️☺️

These boots seem to work great so far. I shortened the cables a bit which was tricky but successful. We’ve had one incident when a back boot twisted on Boss’s foot because he spooked & backed up quickly over rough ground. I was able to get off & replace it correctly to continue. Overall I’m very happy with these Renegade Shield boots.

Overall we (the ranch) love the renegade boots. However I think even with the measurement it still might be too small. We are going to use the 140x140 for another horse and order a pair of 145x145 just cause the heal bulb sticks out farther than the rear of the sole.
