Sprout review
I really like how light weight the carrier is and how easy it is to pack in a small bag. I like the apron style of it and that it’s easy to sit with, especially for long periods of time like during Mass. I love that the width of the panel is adjustable. I found that the cross straps aren’t as easy to put on as an H back carrier, especially with a newborn who is squirmy and head isn’t stable. I also feel like the length of the panel is short. I almost thought I was accidentally sent the doll carrier. I feel like the cross straps rise up toward my neck easily, maybe because I’m on the petite side? I’m thinking about trying the lark for when my baby is a little bigger since the straps are thicker with more padding, so maybe it will be more sturdy and prevent from slipping in toward my neck. Over all, I’d say it was above average for a newborn carrier but didn’t check all the boxes. I ended up getting a Lenny lamb light and love how soft the fabric is and how the with and length of the panel is adjustable. I do however find the waistband to be more bulky and it’s not as easy to sit in. There’s pros and cons to every carrier. Just have to find what works for you and your baby.
