AIDA 2 Freediver Course in Toronto

I was in the AIDA 2 Freediver Course expecting a safe and professional learning experience, but unfortunately it ended very differently. The instructor Rui later admitted that he had insulted my girlfriend and me in a private staff group. Freediving is an extreme sport where trust between instructor and student is essential. After that, I no longer felt comfortable continuing the course with this instructor. The teaching quality was also disappointing. The theory session was much shorter than advertised, ans the instructor was often distracted by his phone, and I received very little direct coaching during the pool sessions. When I requested a refund because I could no longer continue due to the instructor’s own behavior, I was only offered a partial refund : $ 300. Customer service later gave a different explanation involving an e-learning code that had never been disclosed when I enrolled. In the end, I didn’t receive my AIDA 2 certification, lost trust in my instructor because of his own conduct, and was still expected to pay most of the course fee. Hope Rui Diving show some basic respect to his students.
