Sticky Toffee Pudding Shortbread

As an ex first class cabin crew member, I’ve sampled my fair share of premium treats from around the world, and Sawley’s Sticky Toffee Pudding Shortbread is definitely cleared for take-off. The buttery shortbread is wonderfully crisp yet melts in the mouth, while the rich sticky toffee flavour lands perfectly without being overly sweet. It somehow captures everything you love about a proper sticky toffee pudding in a biscuit, which is no small feat. If this had been served in First Class, I’d have happily asked for a second helping before we’d even reached cruising altitude. Fasten your seatbelt… because once you’ve opened the packet, there’s every chance you’ll experience a little turbulence trying to stop at just one!

The lovely buttery smell when opening the packet was lovely, however the toffee flavour there was more of a slightly burnt aftertaste, also it just fell apart whilst trying to eat it, there were more crumbs than biscuit
