Emotional Leadership Development Course - Online Cohort Based

Although, I haven't fully extended the practice into my work environment it has been enormously helpful in informing and helping me make thoughtful and wise decisions through a difficult process at work. I'm navigating a WHS situation that is compounded by being in an under resourced workforce. While I know behaviours are unacceptable, I've generally slipped into rescuer mode and tried to be helpful, the ECD is helping me navigate the honest and difficult conversations that must be had It continues to help me stay in a difficult process when previous Iay have abandoned it as it is too hard. I am so grateful for a tool that helps in this way and I can see how it will be most useful in the healthcare environment I work in.

The cards help define the emotions. Without it, I can imagine that we may tend to use similar emotions to describe how we feel. I also like the way that negative emotions are being reframed. This to me reinforces the idea that all experiences, good or bad, is always an opportunity to learn and this is exactly what the approach helps us to realize and encourages us to express it. Good tool for coaching and creating self awareness and insight.

This tool has made emotions tangible and actionable for me. It's one thing reflecting or discussing emotions, and another to actually have the words in cards. It helps me process things and go deep into an issue, and eventually flesh out possible solutions.
