I can't compare Meadow Creek to the original, but I can say that Meadow Creek is fantastic on its own merits.
There's a nice citrus and mint combination up top that morphs into a middle phase of green herbs. Normally, that feels pretty sharp but the rosemary is muted here, giving the scent a smooth but still very green feeling. The final dry down is also very smooth, with a soft cashemeran wood and patchouli being the dominant notes.
Performance is also very strong, easily lasting my nine to ten hour workday with 3-4 sprays with good projection. This is giving Fortunate Finn a run for its money as my favorite La Ree bottle.
