Great but room for improvement

It works well, I love the product (and their vest) but there is room for improvement IMOHO for the mitts. The thumbs are not heated, or if they are, it is not felt, and the heat is only on the top side of your fingers, but since the natural position of your fingers is slightly bent, there is a small distance between them and the heating elements, so optimal heat is not felt. If you want to feel the heat and really warm your fingers, you have to tuck the thumb inside with your other fingers and extend your fingers and push them upward for them to touch the heated lining. Because of this, I think the gloves might have been a better purchase, the heated elements might have a tighter fit with your fingers in those. I also suspect the heated elements were not placed on the palm side of the mitts for durability reasons. I think the warming effect would have been better if touching the palm side of your hand. Nice warm mitts!

I've used these a few times for skiing. They keep my hands warm, even on low. So far, the battery has lasted as long as I needed it. Pros: - Real mitt, no glove inside. - Heat is along the back of the hand. Great if your hand doesn't reach the end of the mitt. - Power button is responsive without being too sensitive (i.e., ski pole straps do not change settings). - Seem waterproof so far. - Power banks can be used to charge phone. Cons: - Cuff is tight over a big winter ski jacket (barely fits). Gloves won't fit under jacket, and power button would be buried. - Warmth in thumb seems weak, but thumb hasn't been cold yet. - Power banks require 2 usb plugs. - Charging cables are separate - two more cables to get lost. I would have preferred a more integrated system. Overall, pleased with these.
