DIY Kit: Custom Dactyl Manuform

Fantastic DIY Kit!!

The kit was fantastic!! Super easy to get working with and the no soldering requirement made this a breeze!! Keyboard is so much fun to use!!

Just excellent

There are several things that are just great with these. First, the most important part is the customer service: I have been in contact with Cyboard a few times and my experience is great: swift, friendly and helpful! Second off, the kit was in a safe package, no damages even though the package was rerouted across Europe before it arrived. The building guide is brief but explanatory with good illustrations. I just assembled it and it worked out of the box! Finally, I bought the cheaper material as I just wanted to see if this is the right keyboard for me. I expected the cases to look 3d printed. Obviously, this is not like polished wood. But that said, it still looks better than I thought, and primarily, everything fit snug. One half I had to carve tiny little pieces out on two spots as it was a tad too tight - but rather that than the opposite - and this was easy/fast to do - and on the back so not visible. Overall, this is a 5/5 experience and an example of the kind of service and product you want. The only problem I have now is that I start to want to buy the imprint too so I can a) have one set at home and one at the office and b) I would love to try a trackball integration as well. Highly, highly recommended.
