As a true, dipped in the bayou cajun, I whole heartedly approve. Most of this mirrors how my mawmaw taught me to cook. After the army, I got stranded in Georgia (place sucks) and this book reminded me how to cook CORRECTLY again!

Since moving away from south Louisiana a few years ago, we have really missed everything about it, especially the food. The Cajun Ninja has really created something special here. All of our favorites in one book. But its not just that, with all of the side notes and people/friends that have influenced him and his family, thats where this book really shines by bringing some of that cajun culture into the mix. The first recipe I tried was the Chicken Sauce Piquante...of course it was awsome! And, oh! The pictures...very nice seeing what your dish should look like. Next on my 'hits list' will be the Dirty Rice! Great job Cajun Ninja, I can't imagine topping this book!!!!!
