I was the winner of a dozen MB550’s. I’ve used these for years and already felt like these were the best traps out there…. Period! However, Ive never dealt directly with MTP. Their customer support is absolutely amazing. They are easy to deal with and very responsive! I think these guys have the best product and customer support in the business!

Need a larger jawspread with same design for coyotes

Good trap for its size. Have ran 600+ coyotes through them and they have done well.However, these have their limitions with kill area & in bad weather (snow, heavy rains, etc) with the smaller jawspread. MB needs to make a 6-6.5 inch jawspread trap to fit the bill here with the same exact design. You cant expect a mink sized trap to perform like a #3-4.

Started trapping last year first time in thirty years recently retired bought 6 mb 550 last year caught seven coyotes traps worked flawless purchased 2 more dozen this past year caught 17 coyotes only coyote trap ill use
