U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) Star and Bars (August 1943-January 1947) 1/48 National Insignia Paint Masks

Arrived in about a week from ordering, I have only used the mask for the Corsair great masking kit, and a good fit, easy to use with fantastic results.

Awesome paint masks!

What I prefer about airbrushing Stars & Bars, or any other similar livery, is that they are not decals. Although decals can look seamless and have a “painted on” appearance, there’s nothing like having proper painted on markings. I have always made my own masks, especially for USAAF Stars & Bars, but was looking for a way to maybe save time on a typically lengthy build. Used four 45” (to scale) masks on a 1/48 US Navy F2G-2 Corsair, and the Stars & Bars are absolutely perfect. Tamiya tape masks were straight forward and easy to use and transfer media was included in the set. 5 out of 5 stars on this one! And as usual, always a pleasure to do business with fellow Canadians Janelle & Kevin. Always quick delivery on all orders, and great value too.
