Eh. Maybe its the narrator. Not saying he’smbad, just maybe not a good fit for this kind of narrative. I do feel the narrative gets bloated in its own descriptions. Sometimes that cam be fun and interesting. Other times I couldn’t care less. Then I start skipping forward in increments to get to some actual movement or details that interest me. I’m big on character moments, and they suffered more often than not.
