Seismic | Bass Suite

Like it more than NeuralParallax

Been playing bass for 22 years. Have gone the full gamut of rigs, from all analog to cab sim to in the box plugins. Decided on the most recent album I'd try just plugins and have struggled to find a good sound even with Neural DSP (of which I have the quad cortex, Petrucci, and Parallax). Thought I'd give this whirl and I have to say it has some very satisfying presets. I found it easy to dial in my bass tone so it fit nicely in my mix.

Still a lot to learn but so far so good! It’ll be on my bass tracks for a long time.

Seismic not only for metal

The real strength of Seismic is the way it appears in the sound stage. It immediately puts the bass exactly where you want it, far back. Another good thing is it doesn´t mask other instruments and in that area it´s the best electric bass emulation I have ever used. But, when you have to struggle a bit to keep it fairly clean but when the input is reduced and nearly everything is at the minimum it sounds awesome in a pop/rock environment.
