Gravitas has made this the lightest pen you are ever likely to love using. You can stash this pen comfortably anywhere on your body: in a sock, in a rolled-up sleeve or in a secret pouch in your hat. This *very* durable pen also happens to float (as pictured), which is useful in many a situation, especially in outdoors settings. This great strength can also be its geatest weakness, as using it can feel like writing with a straw. I got used to it, but for some it'll be a dealbreaker. Pocket pens galore

My pocket pen quest has led up to a Gravitas journey, starting with the OG pocket pen, winding 'down' (size-wise) along the Dinkey and landing on the Quark. I am fond of all of them, even though some have come with growing pains, which I now consider to be expected in a designing process. Variation is the colour of life, broadening the frame of reference, making me appreciate every piece of that puzzle, including their nooks and crannies. Musings aside, I enjoy ultem for its silky touch, practical transparency and featherweight in a mini Quark as well as the heft and gravitas of copper or more playful to slightly ostentatious colour scheme in the full size OG... and every permutation in between. They all have their place for & in this pocket pen fan & éventail, respectively.
