Arrived after I'd left for Europe!

I ordered a shirt eight days before travelling to Europe for five weeks, thinking it would work well in Italy. It arrived the day after I departed Brisbane, so it will be waiting for me when I return. So the point really to many companies in AU - postage times are letting you down. Amazon can do it. Why can't you?
