Men's Lightweight Vest - Emily Bei

Excellent Gilet!

Great gilet - packs down very small, is light, and as warm as intended. The vest design and Emily Bei art is awesome of course. I'm using this layer anytime I expect varying temps during a long ride (transitioning back and forth from sun-exposed climbs and valleys into forested roads and coastal fog/wind). As other reviewers noted, the zipper requires attention, but that's the tradeoff for keeping it small and light. I didn't know this piece was essential until owning it.

Really love the vest, really hate the zipper

Reviews regarding zipper are right. The zipper is somewhat hard to seat and doesn't slide very well. Both zippers snag just before returning all the way down. I find I have to zip it back up and go swiftly back down, to the point where it feels like I'm ripping at it. There are times where I have to repeat the process multiple times. It's to the point where I have to really debate if it's worth wearing it before I inevitably take it off after I'm warmed up
