Very very light, and packs up exceptionally. The vest is an excellent windblock and adds great versatility to items such as the microgrid long sleeve. Just don’t expect any insulating qualities, go for something like the Alpha for that. The fit seems about the same as the microclimate jacket.

Always wrote these off since weather in the northeast isn’t usually an odd bit of rain & when it’s cold it tends to be real, but rather effective to keep core warm, & yeah it’s shockingly light & tiny if you need to pack it. DWR is fickle of course & never been able to reproof them so it performs as new once it needs that but will certainly be a salient piece of kit for anytime I’m looking at coolish temps on longer rides that aren’t quite truly cold, & great to throw in your touring kit for a bit of rain insurance for autumn temps.
