Brand New Scale faulty - they won’t fix it

It arrived broken!!! Put in the batteries it came with - Lo. Put in other new batteries - Lo. Emailed and left a voicemail for customer service - got an email saying that means low batteries try again. ON A BRAND NEW SCALE!!!!!! I replied and still have not received an answer.
