Good, but could be better

First the looks: the keyboard looks great. The design is lovely. The build: excellent build. Very good materials (PBT keys are great looking and feeling) that feel very good and look good. Solid board. I like the little details like the magnetic glass decorations, even on the bottom. The typing: lovely typing. It tocks and it tocks and feels good. Yet, I do believe there is room for improvement here. Especially the space bar. It feels good, but it has a little high tone to it and it really stands out during typing between all the other tocks. This should really be improved, since the board further is just very, very good. PS. Impossible for me to manage keys with VIA software. It can connect with keyboard, but doesn't do anything else. In Windows I can force it to show the keyboard on my screen, but I can't configure the keys.

Excellent Full-Size Keyboard with a Unique Prestige Voice Experience

I purchased the VA100 CMYK with Kailh Prestige Voice switches because I absolutely fell in love with the Prestige Voice switches in my Varmilo Minilo98. My hope was that the VA100 would feel like a larger version of the Minilo. After spending time with it, I discovered something interesting—it has its own personality. Although both keyboards use the Prestige Voice switches, the VA100 does not feel exactly like the Minilo98. The VA100 has a slightly heavier typing feel and a deeper sound signature, while the Minilo98 feels lighter and more effortless to type on. This showed me that Varmilo's case design, internal tuning, and overall engineering contribute just as much to the typing experience as the switches themselves. That is not a criticism—it was actually a fascinating discovery as a keyboard enthusiast. The VA100 still provides an excellent typing experience. The Prestige Voice switches remain incredibly smooth and comfortable, the stabilizers are excellent, and the build quality is exactly what I have come to expect from Varmilo. The CMYK theme is also outstanding. I originally considered replacing the keycaps, but after using the keyboard I decided to keep it completely stock because the retro computer aesthetic is part of what makes this board special. If I could make one suggestion, I would love to see Varmilo create a full-size keyboard that is tuned even closer to the Minilo98's typing feel. The Minilo98 has become my favorite keyboard, and I would be first in line to purchase a full-size version that captured that same exceptionally light and refined experience. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The VA100 has earned its own place in my collection—not as a replacement for the Minilo98, but as a beautifully built full-size keyboard with its own unique Varmilo character.
