Too green
Jardín Du Poete has the basil too strong in the first snifff. While it dries it gets greener and nicer. Like having your beautiful yard on you. Not my scent. It does not last very long.

Smells great - but doesn't last
A beautiful, herbaceous green scent. It performs mostly bitter and green on my skin- I get the basil and either tomato leaf or something similar. Low projection, and very low longevity. I get a little bit of citrus and something a bit sweet late in the dry down but it’s hard to distinguish specific notes because it gets so faint so fast. Smells amazing, but considering that you’d have to reapply two or three times in a day every 2-3 hours a full bottle is way too expensive.

A Very Nice Green, Herbal but Non-Balmy Scent
I'm finding more and more that a cypress is a note that I seem to like. Jardin du Poete is a nice herbal green vegetal scent. It has this cool/cold effect without being balmy. The citruses and florals are well balanced with the herbs remaining dominant.
Poor sillage, unfortunately. The longevity is slightly better but still lacking compared to othe perfumes.
