Mercedes SL63 Factory Flush No Light Spoiler (2013-2018)

Wing arrived promptly, and was painted in the correct color as requested. It included 3M VHB tape for install. Fitment was close, but not perfect - the curve at the edges of the trunk left a quarter inch gap that had to be addressed, Paint quality was good, but there were a couple small flaws. Overall good value for the price

SL63 Spoiler on 2016 SL400

I installed on 2016 SL400. I oredered it pre-painted selenite grey metallic which was a perfect match with the factory car paint. Installation was easy. I recommend dry fitting before sticking on and have a helper. I followed technique in video of only exposing the tape on the tips then peeling off when everything looked centered. Worked great. I found the bottom edge of the spoiler had to be flush with the top of the middle brake light on trunk or the tips wouldn’t sit flush with trunk. That is an appropriate place, I only mention it to help anyone else installing one since a quarter inch high looks good too but that caused a gap at the tips that was hard to press down. I left about 20 lbs of weight on the tips and in the middle overnight for tape and caulking to dry. Instruction suggested using silicone epoxy but video showed video caulk. I’m not sure what the best stuff to use is but I used GE clear Supreme Silicone Caulk Window and Door Sealant. Near tips and in center. I have been thinking about this for two years but was afraid of bad fit or mismatch color. I am so glad I did got it …the spoiler fit and paint color are perfect and it looks awesome!

Beautiful repro, perfect paint , easy install but the bolts were short so had to go to local hardware store and get 1 1/2 bolts otherwise awesome product
