Maris - Heirloom Candle

Masculine and surprising

Bought Maris as an addition to bundle on because the description of it sparked my curiosity. I would say that this scent is more on the masculine side. I do enjoy more spicy, woodsy, floral scents... but I can appreciate the care taken towards the development of this one. Gifted this candle as it did not fit my space, but had a friend's birthday come up. They did say the scent is perfectly balanced and adds the touch that their space needed. After lighting it, the scent permeated the small apartment without it being overpowering. Overall, loved the combination of notes from fresh to a bit earthy.

Maris is better the second time around.

Still an unusual fresh, an wonderful scent, but the reimagining brings it even more fresh and forward period adding the lemon was the perfect touch. Not too strong at all, but brings the freshness up like an ocean breeze.

Classic Beach Bungalow

I have burned both the original Maris and the heirloom Maris, new formula that was given felt like I was being transported in time to a 1960s/1970s beach bungalow! Definitely a good way to wind down during these summer nights! One of my new favorites!
