These are like a heavy weight canvas, or denim. I thought they were more like a pajama pant. I gave them to my boyfriend to ware when he skates. He loves them. I love the protection they provide. Of course the artwork is my favorite part.

i really want to give 5 stars because the quality and everything else I've gotten from them like shirts are amazing. My issue with the pants is, and it's not only this company, but I'm not 6 feet tall. Unfortunately I'm only 5'5", and trust me if I had any control over my height I'd be taller, but the are just very long for me and they look dumb on me. fortunately they look great on my girlfriend though..
