An excellent indicator for nymphing in deeper waters. Easy to integrate with leader/tippet assembly. Since this indicator uses braided material, it may be restricted from using in selected competitions, e.g., FIPS Mouche.

I have struggled a lot with various indicator types as part of a Euro-nymphing style rig along the lines of Lance Egan and Devin Olsen - ie contact nymphing. I no longer have the eagle eyes of my youth and found the skinnier indicators made of fishing line mostly difficult or impossible to see, particularly against a reflective mirror surface fo the water. This braid indicator’s fluorescent colours and width have made it dramatically easier to see, most especially against the above mirror-like reflective water surfaces. They’re very easy to attach or remove when changing the rig set-up, and are robustly made. I use a Sunray micro-nymphing fly line to which this indicator is attached, followed by varying lengths of leader/tippet. Whilst its stiffness is subtly more that that of both the fly line and the butt end of the leader, it does not negatively affect my casting. Excellent value and service. Thanx
