Really wanted to like this, tl;dr the original soundtrack did it better. I am bias, yes. Saw the movie opening night in 86, bugged my mom for the cassete tape soundtrack. The instrumental tracks are way better than the new versions. I thought the new versions of the other songs would be more intense, yeah no. 2 times listening all the way through and yeah toss in a back corner somewhere.
