Definitely not a coat belt

This is tiny as the other 2 reviews mentioned. It's a fine leather strap that just needs some oiling, but the title is misleading. I'll end up just using them to wrap up a blanket, so if you're looking for some cheap straps and are willing to put in a little bit of work, these a great deal. Otherwise, don't even bother.

Awesome deal!

I got about a half dozen of these because they are great for attaching a rolled up greatcoat or jacket to a belt or y straps. I also needed one for a bundeswehr mess kit (same style as wehrmacht), they work perfect for those.

Tiny

Don't have the said coat its supposed to go on, thing is tiny, probably like 3 pencils wide and long enough to tie hands together and that's that. Sure i will someday find a use for it. Also dried out like jerky, I have various leather maintaining items that i will recondition it with but your avg 20yo hoi4 player is gonna toss it.
