It's great if you like heavy oils
I genuinely love MindGames Queenside, but I don't love its price tag. Y&L is the only perfumer that makes an inspired-by fragrance of it. I appreciate the extrait and strength because a little goes a long way; it is far too oily for my skin, and it will damage most of my nicer clothes.
Now that it has fully macerated and developed, the heavier notes overpower the bright opening of the original. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
While this is an expensive purchase, I will be slightly altering the fragrance by layering it with brighter, citrus perfumes on top to make it as close to the original as possible. Due to the heavy oiliness, I won't be spraying it directly on my skin or clothes; I will be mixing it with lotion first.
