Orchid | Synthetic Lace Front Wig (Mono Part)

Misleading, but STUNNING

Despite having virtually NO references for what Mandarin-Rooted was like on a model, I’m a SUCKER for Estetica’s strawberry blondes. I went into this purchase BLIND. When the wig first arrived, SICK doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt. Not only was the style NOT flattering for my face shape, the SHINE was horrendous. I didn’t touch this wig for about five months, give or take. When my other wigs started to get bad, I decided to “force” myself to like Orchid. After styling the wig (which was really just tucking the bangs behind my ears), I was IN LOVE. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ridiculously shiny (and overpriced), but it’s gorgeous in the direct sun. I grew “used” to the shine, only because of how BEAUTIFUL I felt. As always, Estetica wigs are RESILIENT. I have not wished this wig yet, but she is silkier than my old Reeves and Blaze! I have grown to consider this one of my favorites. Don’t be alarmed by my bad review. I’m being HONEST. I was horrified with the style, color, and shine — but first impressions can be WRONG. I’m thankful I didn’t return her. I attached a BOATLOAD of photos so you know what you’re getting into. The first picture is how it looks after being messed with, but not properly styled.

As a natural redhead, it's extremely hard to find a bright auburn that matches my original color, but this one does. Not only is the color a great match, but the highlights are gorgeous, and the style is super cute! In the two months I've been wearing Orchid, I've received tons of compliments, but never more than the weekend of my daughter's wedding! It also worked great with sponge curlers to change it up for a beachy updo. DEFINITELY going to order another one!
