Ever since middle school I dreamed of owning a Lolita style dress, but growing up plus size in the 2000's made it next to impossible to shop online, and fabric is so expensive and patterns limited to make one lf my own. I just always resigned myself to the thought that I'll never own one. Not only did this shop have plus size options, but really really really cute designs. Not sure if it was the shop owner or just a regular employee, but the person manning the Tekko booth Saturday afternoon was so sweet and kind. Not only did they tell me to try it on then and there, but also insisted on putting my purse on their chair while I did instead of having to put it on the con floor. When I went back to my hotel room and tried it on with accessories, I honestly cried. I felt so beautiful and like a princess. I will absolutely always give this shop my money when I can afford to splurge on j-fashion. Truly a magical experience that turned my entire con weekend around.
