Excellent quality in theory, incredibly disappointing in practice

If you're intent on using these, but you've never applied this sort of decal before, it's highly likely you will mess up the first one. That's on me, I was reckless. The first card has stretched and warped edges and I thought that was why it wasn't usable in card swipes. But on further testing with the other two cards that I did perfectly, those don't swipe or insert into any card readers either. The decal is too thick and I'm stuck with tap to pay. As much as I love the concept, as soon as I'm in a region where there's no tap to pay I will have to remove the decals and wipe down the card with a solvent so it doesn't get stuck in the card reader. The only reason this isn't a one star review is because I'm in enough of a metropolitan region that this hasn't become a problem yet. The entire reason I bought these was because I assumed the decals were thin enough to work in swipe or insert machines. I'm not entirely disappointed because the actual quality of the print is very good.
