Book Nook Ginzan Onsen DIY kit - BN005

I received my kit today. I ordered it at the beginning of July. I noted that several other reviews mentioned longer waits for their packages so I decided to patiently wait. The package wasn't damaged in any way. The instructions manual included English translations. I can't wait to start building.

Some of the pieces were sized too small compared to their matching parts, making them functionally useless (it made this section very difficult). One set of pieces were all printed slightly too far down, so the numbers and designs did not align with the cut parts. The electronics and majority of the pieces works though.

I finally started this kit - my seventh build - and believed I was ready for the challenge. However I’ve found the pieces very fragile and some have broken. Pieces don’t click together and I’ve had to glue some pieces to stop them falling out. AND I’ve only just finished building the rotating “train” picture. It works but does not rotate the paper so I’m getting frustrated trying to fix it. I may need to put it aside a while before I break it 😫
