Red Pumpkin Nerite Snail

Active and Industrious

The red pumpkin nerite snail is so cute! It's the size of a pea, although of course it will get bigger. It started exploring as soon as I put in the fish tank, and spends a lot of time one of the decorations that I particularly wanted to have the algae removed from. He's already cleaned a good portion of it!

Beautiful. They are doing a beautiful job cleaning up my aquarium already!

Nice snails

I ordered a few different snails. Initially was worried about them arriving in winter OK but the box was thoughtfully packed with insulation and a heat pad. One snail was a little slow at first but all were good to go shortly after acclimation to warm temps in their bags.
