X4 MTB Elbow Guards (Adult)

More robust protection than the X3's, which I was also a fan of. These feel more protective while not feeling any heavier. They breath surprisingly well for elbow pads (I wear them all summer in Arizona!). I have found them great for low speed crashes but on high speed crashes, they can, like many elbow pads, get pushed up, and then your elbow is exposed. So great for everyday trail riding and less than ideal for bike park day.

Same as the review for the knee pads. Following the sizing guide, they were a little tight to fit, but not unbearably tight. It felt nice to get them off after 5 hours though. Maybe that'll change after a break-in period or a couple washes, it's too early to tell.

The elbow guards slip down toward my wrists on lumpy downhill runs.
