Cooling Upgrade Kit - Bitaxe/Gekkoaxe GT (AXP90 Compatible)

Good design, great package deal, phenomenal service!

I’d call this a mid level difficulty mod if you’re starting with an 800/801 since you need to relocate the fan header, but for the gekko it’s just about as plug and play as they come. The axp90 is a great heatsink for 4 chips so it doesn’t even break a sweat for two. I had the 53mm heatsink a laying around and used those. Pair this with an arctic p9 max on the heatsink and a p8 on the back and the fans are so cool and quiet you hardly know they’re on. This kit comes with everything you need. The ix tech guys hooked me up with extra parts I needed too! Ten out of ten. Highly recommended.

Great Upgrade that looks cool

This is an awesome upgrade. I did it on a Gekkoaxe GT so it was super easy to assemble. It looks freaking awesome. Looks so good, I ordered another one. These guys just do and make great things. Highly recommend.

Frosty!

Major improvement over the Bitaxe Gamma GT's stock cooling solution. The soldering was a bit tricky for a novice, but the YouTube guide and a hint of patience got me through it. I also like the stand much better than the stock one! It looks cooler, and is a lot less tipsy. The only think I wish the kit included was the thermal padding that was used in the YouTube video guide, I had to purchase that separately (cheap, nbd). My GT is cruising now in the mid 40's temp range! Thanks!!
