It does the thing! Super cool to have fully automated travel assist. Easy plug and play install (once, of course, you get the clips removed from the airbag). Recommend checking out the FCP euro tutorial for changing steering wheel trim on Golf R MK8; also recommend starting with the clip at the bottom of the steering wheel.

Finally something to fix the driving assist errors. What a clutch save.

So far it’s been great! Solved the travel assist warning. Easy installation. The case was damaged but was able to put a dab of glue and it’s fine. Very happy with purchase. VW needs to take a lesson.
