Good, but not without flaws
It’s a solid piece of luggage and quite well constructed. It has a few flaws that make it a bit of a hassle to travel with, however.
1. The handles. The telescopic handle are both too short (by about 2” - if you’re tall you’ll be hunched over pushing this around) and too easy to trigger the button. Just pushing the luggage normally has a tendency to retract the handle while walking. The carrying handles are very robust and well constructed but protrude quite a bit and can swing around while rolling the luggage.
2. Zippers are about medium duty, not flimsy enough to easily fly open but compared to other heavy duty luggage it wouldn’t pass the “pen test”, especially the ones on the inside holding the bottles feels a bit under spec’d.
3. The bag has a more quadratic shape than most luggages making it a bit different to fit on luggage racks, this is just a function of the padding but worth noting.
4. The foam covers to protect the bottles chafe against the strap locking mechanism and deteriorates/wears fast in this spot.
5. Wheels are a bit small and tend to get stuck in elevator gaps and such more compared to other luggage
Overall does the job well and protects the precious cargo well, but is a little tougher to travel with - as a niche product it does the job, though and no major flaws; they’re all small frustrations rather than fundamental flaws (the one thing I wish was truly fixed is the length and easy-triggering handle.
