Cairn Evo C Sandals

Comfy from the get go

I went with the Evo C as I find my mountain clogs somewhat unforgiving underfoot. These have just the right amount of cushioning - more than the mountain clogs, which are also advertised as having a cushioned sole. Very comfy and a really nice outer sole, which I think will help useful for bike riding (whereas the softer outer soles of my Tevas get torn up by the studs on my bicycle pedals). I just wish there were more colour options in this model!

I walk in these everyday for exercise, and everywhere. Bought them late in the season but was worth it. They have just the right thickness and cushioning, while still being barefoot. The Cairn sandal 14cm are great but too hard for me for long walks. So was looking forward to the EVO C. The only downside is I was expecting them to be a bit larger than the old model. There seems to be no difference in shape or size, maybe just length, not width. (Size 11 Men's) I would prefer a 20mm Cairn sandal for the flatter insole and rougher feel under my feet. More stimulating. Australia doesn't give you a full colour range for the C, so went with black. They look good.

Best Sandals/Jandals I've ever owned

I've tried all the usual suspects when it comes to open footwear. These are the best. I'm seriously considering purchasing a second pair despite this pair being barely broken in. My only disappointment is that, coming into winter, I won't get a chance to wear them more. Fantastic!
