The knife I’ve been looking for!
I had been looking for a new pocket knife that was similar to the classic higonokami knife, but had flip action build into it. This was everything I wanted and is incredibly sharp.

Flip could be more secure
The flip action could be a bit smoother and the lockout when the blade is flipped open. If you dont flip hard, the blade could "break loose". Otherwise, this blade is thick and sharp. I have already put a beating on it in over a week of owning and it has kept a perfect edge. The walnut is pretty, wondering if I took it apart, sanded, and cured it better if it would look even better. But as is, this thing is awesome. I carried a Benchmade mini bugout for years, this has replaced my EDC.

Great knife, well constructed, great mechanism, perfect size. I only wish the black walnut option was finished with a more robust poly coating. Added one myself, now it’s perfect.
