I love it but it didn't last

I absolutely love the feel and fit of the jersey - very comfy, cooling in the heat, keeps the cool of the wind off you too. BUT (and this is quite a big one) - I've only worn it once and it has loads of snags, which given the way the top is produced, are really obvious because the inside is white. I'm sure the snags won't impact how well the top works, but it looks tatty after wearing it for one day of cycle touring. I wore an osprey waistpack, but the pack has never done that to any of my other tops...
