Men's Adidas Adizero Evo SL EXO

Decent shoe. A little firm for me. Doesn’t conform to my natural running style as much as several other shoes I’ve tried in this category. It can be fast and an hour is about my limit in it.

Ran the original Evo SL and dealt with some of the common things most talked about, short tongue and laces. Overall it worked for me though with a change of laces and pattern. The new exo has addressed all of those things. New tongue is much better, lockdown is dialed and overall I feel a great upgrade to the OG. Laces are better , but they do feel like a basic cotton. I switched them out and added an older pair of insoles from a retired SB2 and it works for me. Same midsole as before which I personally enjoy and find it pretty versatile for lost runs. I don’t find it overly unstable, but again I have a pretty neutral gait. If you’re wondering about the new fit it’s better and wraps the midfoot solidly. Midsole is the same as before. Clean update and worth trying!
