Mother Hen Egg Apron Pattern

The pattern is very cute and well thought out, and I was really excited to crochet the apron because the idea is absolutely adorable. However, for the price of €11, I was expecting more detailed instructions. For example, in the granny square section, it would have been helpful to include clearer guidance on how to continue (such as specifying stitch counts as they increase per row) rather than simply stating to “continue for x rows.” That being said, the pattern is overall well written, and I still enjoyed working on the project. Thankfully, the author included helpful photos, which made it much easier to follow along when the written instructions were a bit unclear.

A well written pattern that looks great made up. I'm working in the straps now and then will just have the scallop edging to do.

Love it. I've completed 15 chickens and will be assembling them onto aprons soon. My plan is to assemble them on two patchwork aprons, before I complete a fully crocheted apron. I considered myself a beginner in crochet, having only started in January this year and I managed this quite easily. So thank you. It's a fun project for me. Cheers Carolyn
