Colombia Finca Sofia - Medium Roast

Sweet finish and well balanced. My current favourite. Consistently good at 16g per 250 ml water fine grind.

Not roasted enough

I deny it is a medium roast - more a light or "city" roast. It preserves the fruit and acidity - a modern trend, in my opinion fails to produce a decent coffee. Crema was good, vibrant colour - if you are into modern light roasts it may well suit you. I have almost a kilo of beans that will now be ground and used by my wife as an exfoliant.

Interesting flavour and pleasant. Interesting can mean challenging. Not here, this is (the medium roast) light but with a pleasant upper note to it. A good mid morning coffee.
