Bridgette Cotton Lace Midi Dress

This dress is so dreamy and I feel like a character in a period drama every time I put it on! The cotton is thick and sturdy and the detailing is beautiful. Perfect for frolicking or picking flowers. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bodice sits very low, in addition to the deep V for the lace-up, and the sleeves over the shoulder are stretchy which is NOT a good combo. Since the fabric is so thick and heavy, the dress hangs low, made worse if you dare put anything in the pockets. It's very difficult to feel secure without your bra - or worse - peaking out. I think I'll need to add reinforcements to the sleeves so the part over my shoulders is *shorter* and *not stretchy* and maybe tack down the lace trim so I don't have to constantly check or readjust it.
