Not as good as kinetic 2

They are more stylish yes but I wish I would have gotten the kinetic 2 again. These are not as durable as the kinetic 2 or as comfortable. There is already a hole on the top where my big toe is. Also these are not as water resistant as the kinetic 2, if your squeegeeing a lot of water expect wet socks. Both of these styles the tongue slips down and becomes really uncomfortable until you pull it up again, I'm a 20 year vet in the kitchen I've tried them all if you on the fence go with kinetic 2.

Fatal flaw

These shoes were so so comfortable even through a 12 hour shift. Once I broke them in, on days I wasn't wearing them I found myself craving them. However, the fabric on the top and sides split after only a few weeks which lead to me returning them. I have never had a shoe do that. I hope they fix this flaw to that I can buy them again in the future!

They don’t have the same tread pattern on the soles as most non slips which has me skeptical on their true slip resistance. I still slip in the dishwasher areas and I slide near the fryers and grill where fries and burgers are made, but I never fall. The style of these is awesome and I love being able to work in 2 different kitchens everyday with them for 16 hours. Im glad there’s enough traction on them to catch the ground with my feet when I slip before I injure myself in wet areas. The anti slip sole of these isn’t like normal non slips, so I don’t feel they are truly as slippery resistant, but we can’t be glued to the floor and there is no definite way to ensure that grease or water doesn’t cause you to fall. All in all, I’ve been wanting these a while so I’m glad I was able to get them! Thank you.
