Leather & Sweat - 2 mL Skin Trial

Great product and I love how it augments my natural scent! I would have given 5 stars ⭐️ but I feel the price is a bit high for the sample, though I have purchased a full sized bottle. My advice?: skip the sample.

Leather & Sweat was a disappointment for me because it came across as extremely one-note. From the moment I applied it, the dominant impression was leather—and little else. While I expected a more complex interplay between the leather accord and the “sweat” concept suggested by the name, any secondary notes were either absent or so subdued that I couldn't detect them. The leather itself is bold and unapologetic, but it quickly becomes overwhelming. Rather than evolving over time or revealing additional facets, the fragrance seemed to remain fixed on a single, heavy leather accord throughout the wear. If there were any nuances intended to evoke skin, musk, warmth, or perspiration, they were completely overshadowed by the intensity of the leather note. Fans of highly assertive leather fragrances may appreciate its straightforward approach, but I found the lack of depth and development made it feel flat and monotonous. For me, Leather & Sweat delivered plenty of leather but very little else, resulting in a scent that was more overpowering than compelling. Rating: 2/5 – Strong leather lovers may enjoy it, but I found it too overwhelming and lacking in complexity.

This fragrance is incredible. It starts out with a light, leathery scent, then over time works with my natural smell to create a really unique musky fragrance. 10/10 would recommend.
