I really want to give this/these template a high mark. I have always, up till now been more than pleased with the templates from Makers. I even have at least one other flexible before these two. My gripe is actually not with the template. The main gripe might actually have more to do with customer service, but, too, has to do with the template set directly. On making the first bag with the 75% template I got to the portion for the shoulder strap and notice that there was not a template piece marked to cut one out. Having watched the companion video several times I couldn't remember anything specific dealing with the strap, other than the assembly. It looked to me like potentially the main bag gusset was intended to also be used for the shoulder strap. I tried that as an option but was not pleased with the fit. So, I wrote to customer support to see if there was possibly a missing piece in my set, or if I could get measurement to go ahead and make my own. pictures of my set were requested, and I sent them in as requested. The response was that I was not missing anything and that I should use the main bag gusset for the shoulder strap. I explained that I had already done that and was not pleased with the fit but that I would try it again. I also pointed out that on the template for the main bag gusset it is only marked as "cut one", not "cut two" so it appeared that there was something not being clearly defined in our conversation. I even pointed out that on Makers website the picture for the template seemed to show the shoulder strap as a separate piece. I was thanked for the suggestion on correcting the template, ending the conversation. Actually, I felt dismissed at that point. So, my gripe is that when a person spends money on a template the expectation is that the pattern/template is complete and the potential for flaws are minimal. When a flaw is found, or a question is had, having paid for the information/service, that some type of correction is made. I didn't ask for anything other than dimensions in my conversation with customer support. I would have been pleased with only that hole filled. However, I feel like I was attended to as if I was attempting to rob the place. I still had to come up with my own measurement to get the fit I was looking for, and I still paid for info I never received.

Probably a great pattern, but no information packet or directions. Gives you no idea of materials need or anything as far as putting it together. Had to do my own research as to videos etc. pretty poor over all

Can't wait to make a bag with it! I have gotten spoiled using the templates (most recently the breezy clutch) and grumble when I use a paper pattern.
